Ultimate chocolate fudge cake.. so they say!

This is the cake i was going on about in the previous blog.. It was not as easy as i expected it to be.. but in the end it turned out to be some what presentable! Unfortunately this is the best pix i've got at the moment, still waiting on some better images (hopefully).. I love the lily though :) This was for Mak Long's birthday- one of her many cakes.. hope she liked it!

Now about that chocolate fudge cake..

Wow.. i made my hubby's dream cake come to life.. well it was alive till it got gobbled up-by everyone else! hehe

This was a special cake for my sis-in-law's birthday last monday- Happy Belated! =)

The cake was super Nyumm! I was really happy to hear from both sides of families that they loved the cake.. Yay!!

back to baking i.e. reality..

Hi guys, i had a gooood break..

My course was really great and really insightful! And it opened me up to a lot of things. Like now i know why my wedding cake cost a 'bomb'.. there's just so much hard work, care/love, attention to detail etc, that goes into decorating cakes.. but realizing this.. i'm still excited to make my special order for this week. I'm so thankful to Kaka A for placing the order =D

It's going to be similar to this cake i made during my course (i hope...*fingers crossed*) but just a single tier and with a lily instead of a magnolia..

Spent the weekend getting back into baking for some orders. This wkend i plan to experiment with a couple of flavours and recipes with a cuz. I'll update again soon with more pix..
